3 Days Mount Toubkal Trek from Marrakech
Berber Villages, Waterfalls & Traditional Lunch
Embark on a 3-day adventure to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4167m), the highest peak in North Africa. Starting from Marrakech, this trek takes you deep into the heart of the Atlas Mountains, where you’ll discover Berber villages, dramatic valleys, and breathtaking mountain scenery. With an experienced local guide, mule support, hearty meals, and traditional accommodation, this trek combines culture and adventure for an unforgettable Moroccan experience.
Day 1
Marrakech – Imlil – Toubkal Refuge
- Pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech and transfer to Imlil (1,740m).
- Meet your local guide and mule team. Start trekking through Aroumd village and the Mizane Valley.
- Pass the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch before continuing up the valley.
- Arrive at the Toubkal Refuge (3,207m), where you will spend the night.
- Trekking time: approx. 5–6 hours.
- Overnight: Refuge (shared dormitory).
Day 2
Summit of Mount Toubkal – Return to Refuge – Imlil
- Early start for the ascent of Mount Toubkal. The climb is challenging but rewarding with stunning panoramic views across the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara Desert, and beyond.
- Spend time at the summit (4,167m) before descending back to the refuge.
- After lunch, trek back down to Imlil.
- Overnight in a guesthouse in Imlil village.
- Trekking time: approx. 8–9 hours.
Day 3
Imlil – Marrakech
- Breakfast at the guesthouse with views over the Imlil valley.
- Short village walk or time to relax before your return transfer.
- Drive back to Marrakech in the late morning.
- Arrival in Marrakech around midday/early afternoon.

Yes. To ensure availability, we recommend booking your restaurant table or excursion at least 24 hours in advance. Same-day requests may be possible depending on space.
Restaurant reservations: Meal price depends on chosen dishes; all food is freshly prepared with local ingredients.
Excursions: Professional local guide, meals, and accommodation (for multi-day trek). Transfers from Marrakech can be arranged on request.
For the restaurant: Just bring your appetite!
For excursions: Comfortable shoes, water, sun protection, and a light jacket. For the Toubkal trek, good hiking boots and warm clothing are essential.
